From His Website: Senator Casey’s Position on Immigration
"A Secure Border and Dignity for Those Seeking a Better Life"
The American immigration system as it stands today fails to meet the needs of our economy, families, and national security. Senator Casey advocates for a balanced, commonsense approach to immigration reform. This includes policies to bring undocumented immigrants out of the shadows and into our communities and economy, secure our borders, unite families, and ensure that individuals fleeing violence and persecution can petition for asylum fairly and receive appropriate care while doing so.
Senator Casey also believes in addressing the root causes of migration by collaborating with other countries, particularly in Central America. Fundamentally, he believes the U.S., as a nation of immigrants and laws, should maintain a system that treats all individuals with compassion and dignity while securing our borders and safeguarding national security.

On Immigration and Workers’ Rights
McCormick is an Army veteran who has served in the Department of the Treasury and Homeland Security. Most recently, he was the CEO of an investment company.
-
On his website, McCormick criticizes Biden, Harris, and his opponent, Bob Casey, for not implementing strong, effective border security, claiming that Pennsylvania is bearing the costs for public services for “people who don’t pay taxes, as dangerous drugs cross our border and women and children become victims of trafficking.” His website states that he will:
-
Fight to secure the border, end drug and human trafficking, and support border patrol agents with the resources needed to perform their duties.
-
-
Statements - At an event in Allentown, PA, on September 10, McCormick said he wants to secure the border by funding a border wall and the Border Patrol. He also wants to designate Mexican drug cartels as terrorists and use the military to “take out” the cartels.

Workers’ Rights / Working Families
-
McCormick’s website does not mention specific measures to support workers or low-income working families.
-
At a June event, he discussed supporting tax credits for families needing IVF procedures and promoting FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts) for child care costs, allowing pre-tax contributions from workers’ income, sometimes with employer contributions.
